Programming a Sequence

Programming a Sequence

To program a sequence, proceed as follows:

Scan the bar code as shown in

Figure 14 on page 14

Scan the bar codes one at a time in the order given in the following table.

may help to rotate them.

Exit the program mode by scanning in the bar code in

Figure 14 on page 14

.

The scanner should now be properly programmed. Repeat the procedure in

“Performing the

Verification Sequence” on page 6

to ensure proper programming.

Note: If the scanner does not work after following all the instructions listed above, it indicates

that the scanner may not be connected properly or the Profit Point POS terminal may

not be configured correctly. Repeat the procedure in

“Setting Up the Scanner” on

page 5

. See the Hardware Configuration section in MDE-4356 Profit Point Reference

Manual to determine if the Profit Point POS terminal is configured correctly.
