INSTRUCTIONS FOR ICR DISPLAY REPLACEMENT KIT - C07229
These instructions are to be used for updating the CFN Island Card Reader (ICR) from the 3-board set to the new 2-
board set.
Parts being replaced:

DISASSEMBLY
Refer to the drawing at right for assistance in
locating components.
1. Open the door of the ICR and turn off the
power switch.
2. Remove the LC display interface board from
the LCD interface board. Disconnect the DC
power cable from connector P2 of the LC
display interface board.
3. Remove and discard the display ribbon cable
from connector P6 of the reader CPU board.
4. Remove the screw, washer, and spacer
securing the thermostat and upper mounting
bracket to the door. The screw, washer, and
spacer may be discarded.
5. Remove the screws securing the lower
mounting bracket to the door. Retain the
screws for later use.
6. Remove the screws, nuts, and spacers
securing the display and interface board to
the lower mounting bracket. Discard the
screws, nuts, and spacers.
