SSID -
(Service Set Identifier) is a name that identifies a
wireless network. Access Points and wireless
clients attempting to connect to a specific WLAN
(Wireless Local Area Network) must use the
same SSID. The default setting is default.
Wireless Mode-
Click on the pull-down menu; select from the
following options:
Infrastructure - connecting the WLAN using an
Access Point such as the DWL-1000AP+. (The
default setting.)
Ad-Hoc – wireless mode used when connecting
directly to a computer equipped with a wireless
adapter in a peer-to-peer environment.
Streaming Settings
Control channel port -
It can be set to other than the default port 5001 to
correspond with the port opened by the firewall.
Audio channel port -
It can be set to other than the default port 5002 to
correspond with the port opened by the firewall.
Video channel port -
It can be set to other than the default port 5003 to
correspond with the port opened by the firewall.
WLAN Configuration Settings
Improve audio quality
in low bandwidth
environment -
In a low bandwidth network environment you can
check this option to improve
audio quality by
sacrificing some real-time synchronization.
