4.2 Installation of the devolo MicroLink dLAN
software
ቢ Put the enclosed devolo product CD in your CD-ROM drive.
ባ From the CD setup, select 'Install MicroLink dLAN Audio software'. Win-
dows starts the wizard. Then, click Next.
ቤ Select the software components ('devolo MicroLink dLAN Configuration
Wizard', 'devolo MicroLink Informer', 'devolo MicroLink dLAN Audio
Streaming Server') that you want to install and click Next.
ብ The plug-ins for Windows Media Player and Winamp are installed along
with the MicroLink dLAN Audio Streaming Server. In the next dialogue,
select which plug-ins you want to install and confirm with Next.
If the Windows Media Player is not installed on the PC, or if it is not the
required version, the Setup program offers you the opportunity to install
it.
After performing the installation and rebooting the PC (if necessary), you
may have to restart the installation program of the MicroLink dLAN soft-
ware.
