3.1
Connection
In this section, we will show you how to connect various devices to your
MicroLink dLAN Audio adapter. The collective term “audio devices” includes
all devices which are part of a stereo system, or would normally be connected
to one (amplifier, radio tuner, satellite receiver, CD/DVD player etc.).
3.1.1
Connecting the MicroLink dLAN Audio to the power
supply grid
Before connecting the dLAN adapter, note its security ID and keep this ID at
hand ready for configuring the network. You can find the security ID on the
bottom of the unit.
The MicroLink dLAN Audio adapters are simply plugged into an available
electrical outlet. No drivers are required for operation.
3.1.2
Connecting the analog audio input
To transmit music from your stereo system to the power supply grid using
analog connections, use a cinch (RCA) cable to connect an analog output of
the stereo systems to the analog input of the MicroLink dLAN Audio adapter:
