LED is lit continuously: Audio data are being sent or received over the
channel.
ć
LED is flashing: No connection has been established on the channel.
ć
LED is off: This channel is not currently active.
The MicroLink dLAN Audio has a function to prevent multiple MicroLink dLAN
Audio servers from sending data on the same channel simultaneously. This is
signaled by the following flash code on the device:
ć
LED of the busy channel flashes alternatingly with those of the three
other channel LEDs: The LED of the busy channel, i.e. the LED of the
channel already carrying audio data, will be lit while the other three
channel LEDs remain out. Next, the three other channel LEDs will be
lit at the same time while the LED of the busy channel is out.
ᕢ The 'Rec' LED on the right side of the housing (red) displays the operating
mode of the MicroLink dLAN Audio:

LED is off: Playback
ć
LED is lit continuously: Recording from analog (line) input
ć
LED is flashing rapidly: Recording from digital input
ć
LED is flashing slowly: Recording from "Mic" input
ᕣ The 'Power' LED is lit when the MicroLink dLAN Audio is ready for oper-
ation.
ᕤ The 'Act' LED is lit when data are being sent or received via the power
supply grid.
ᕥ The 'Link' LED is lit when a connection to another dLAN adapter has been
established.
When operating the MicroLink dLAN Audio adapter using the web-based
configuration interface, it is also possible to observe the corresponding sta-
tuses of the LEDs (see “The HTML configuration interface for the MicroLink
dLAN Audio adapter” on page 30).
