Section 3: Initial Setup
To open the DakTennis program, either double-click the “DakTennis v3” icon on the
desktop, or go to Start > All Programs > Daktronics > DakTennis v3.
Note: On Windows 7, it may be necessary to first right-click the icon and select Run as administrator.
3.1 Startup Wizard
1. When the DakTennis program is first opened, users are greeted with a Startup Wizard
that guides them through some initial setup (Figure 2). Click the small arrow on the right
side of the window to continue.
2. On the Create Home Team screen (Figure 3), click Configure Team to assign the “profile”
team. The software will always use this team as the default home team when creating
new competitions. A home team must be created before the Startup Wizard can continue.
