M O R E
The MORE command displays a text file one screen at a time.
Syntax
MORE [filename] or command | MORE
Remarks
The input to MORE may come from a file, or it may be piped in from
another filter or any other DOS
command. If the filename is present, then
the file is viewed; otherwise MORE reads from the Standard Input.
Once a screen has been viewed, a line is displayed on the bottom of the
screen indicating the percent of the file that has been viewed. At this
point, there are several options for the next lines of text to be viewed.
B Display the previous full page.
Display just one more line.
T Display starting at the top of the file.
Spacebar Display the next full page of text.
Q Exit MORE
Examples
DIR | MORE
Displays a directory one screen at a time.
MORE READ.ME
Displays the file READ.ME one page at a time.
