I N C R E A S I N G P R I N T S P E E D
There are a number of variables that affect your printer’s print
speed. To maximize print speed, follow the rules of thumb
described below.
The following variables affect print speed:
♦ Energy Setting
♦ Battery Voltage
♦ Type of Printing
♦ Print Contrast
♦ Printhead Temperature
♦ Format Width
E n e r g y S e t t i n g
Energy setting is the amount of power needed for printing on
certain types of supplies.
Rule of Thumb
Do not use the High Energy setting. It runs the printer at a
constant speed.
