Chapter 5: Expanding Your Tablet PC
Using the Docking Station
Docking station is an add-on option.
A docking station is a device which eliminates the hassle of connecting
and disconnecting various cables and peripherals when the tablet PC is
used in multiple places. The docking station can be connected thru the
docking connector located at the bottom of the tablet PC. Simply locate
the docking connector and connect it to the docking station.
Tablet PC capability can be enhanced by connection of various peripheral
devices.
When apply, be sure to accompany the devices instruction with the rel-
evant section in this chapter.
This chapter provides guidelines of installing and using the following
devices:

Connecting a USB/mini USB Device
Your tablet PC has two USB ports for connection of USB devices such as
digital camera, scanner, printer, modem, mouse etc. Please note the USB
ports may support transfer rates up to 12 MB/s for USB 1.1 devices and
480 MB/s for USB 2.0 devices.
Your tablet PC is also equipped with one mini USB port for USB connection
of PC or Laptop to transfer data and update information. The mini USB
port supports USB 2.0 specification.
