2 The buttons on the remote control unit correspond to the buttons on the iPod as shown below.
1 13 Play the track.
2 – Stop playback of the track.
3 13 Pause the track.
MENU/GUIDE MENU Display the menu or return to the previous menu.
9 9 Play the next track.
8 8 Play the track from the beginning.
7 7 Fast-forward the track.
6 6 Fast-reverse the track.
• , ª, 0 , 1 Click Wheel Select an item.
ENTER Select Enter the selection or plays the track.
RETURN – Switch between the browse mode and the remote mode.
REP 1/ALL – Switch the repeat function.
RANDOM – Switch the shuffle function.

Press the RETURN button to switch from the
browse mode to the remote mode.
iPod’s photographs can be displayed on the TV monitor.
Disconnecting the iPod
3 Watching the iPod’s display, press the CURSOR
• or ª button to select “Photos”.

Press the ENTER button to play.
• The iPod’s photographs are displayed on the TV monitor.
• The battery is not charged while a slideshow is playing. Be sure
the battery is sufficiently charged before starting the slideshow.
We recommend either pressing the ON/STANDBY
switch to set the S-301’s power to the standby mode,
or pressing the
FUNCTION button on the main unit
or the DVD , TUNER or AUX button on the remote
control unit and setting the input function to
something other than iPod.
