Betriebsbereitschaft herstellen:
• Übertragungsrate einstellen
Die Übertragungsrate wird mit einer
Steckbrücke eingestellt. Sie können
zwischen 500 kBit/s oder 2 MBit/s wählen.
- 500 kBit/s: 500k 2M
- 2 Mbit/s: 500k 2M
• Legen Sie die Versorgungsspannung an
das Basisgerät:
Klemmen 24 V und A1 (+): + 24 V DC
Klemmen 0 V und A2 (-): 0 V
Preparing the unit for operation:
• Set transmission rate
The transmission rate is set using a
jumper. You can choose between 500 kBit/
s and 2 MBit/s.
- 500 kBit/s: 500k 2M
- 2 Mbit/s: 500k 2M
• Connect the supply voltage to the base
unit:
Terminals 24 V and A1 (+): + 24 V DC
Terminals 0 V and A2 (-): 0 V
Mise en route :

La vitesse de transmission est réglée au
moyen d’un cavalier de pontage. Vous
pouvez choisir entre 500 kBit/s et 2 MBit/s.

Données d’entrées et de sorties
Les données sont conçues de la façon suivante:
• Plage d’entrées
Les entrées sont définies dans le maître et
transmises au PNOZmulti. Chaque entrée
dispose d’un numéro, par exemple l’entrée
bit 4 de l’octet 1 possède le numéro i12.
• Plage de sorties
Les sorties sont définies dans la
configuration PNOZmulti. Chaque sortie
utilisée reçoit un numéro, par exemple o0,
o5... L’état de la sortie o0 est classée dans le
bit 0 de l’octet 0 ; L’état de la sortie o5 est
classée dans le bit 5 de l’octet 0 ; etc.
• Uniquement plage de sorties : octet 3

- Bit 0 : OFAULT
- Bit 1 : IFAULT
- Bit 2 : FAULT

INTERBUS interface
The PNOZ mc5p has a 9-pin male D-Sub
connector „IBS IN“ and a 9-pin female D-Sub
connector „IBS OUT“ for connection to
INTERBUS.
The last two pages contain a connection
example, the pin configuration, the configura-
tion of the INTERBUS interface and the unit’s
dimensions.
Interface INTERBUS
Le module PNOZ mc5p est doté d’un
connecteur Sub-D mâle 9 pôles «IBS-IN» et
d’un connecteur Sub-D femelle9 pôles «IBS-
OUT»
pour le raccordement au bus

Eingangs- und Ausgangsdaten
Die Daten sind wie folgt aufgebaut:
• Eingangsbereich
Die Eingänge werden im Master definiert und
an das PNOZmulti übergeben. Jeder
Eingang hat eine Nummer, z. B. der Eingang
Bit 4 von Byte 1 hat die Nummer i12.
• Ausgangsbereich
Die Ausgänge werden im PNOZmulti Config
definiert. Jeder verwendete Ausgang erhält
dort eine Nummer, z. B. o0, o5... Der
Zustand des Ausgangs o0 wird in Bit 0 von
Byte 0 abgelegt, der Zustand von Ausgang
o5 wird in Bit 5 von Byte 0 abgelegt usw.
• Nur Ausgangsbereich: Byte 3
Bit 0 ... 4: LED-Zustände des PNOZmulti

Input and output data
The data is structured as follows:
• Input range
The inputs are defined in the master and
transferred to the PNOZmulti.
Each input has a number, e.g. the input Bit 4
of Byte 1 has the number i12.
• Output range
The outputs are defined in the PNOZmulti
Config. Each output that is used is
given a number there, e.g. o0, o5... The
status of output o0 is stored in Bit 0 of
Byte 0; the status of output o5 is stored in Bit
5 of Byte 0 etc.
• Output range only: Byte 3
Bit 0 ... 4: Status of LEDs on the PNOZmulti
- Bit 0: OFAULT
- Bit 1: IFAULT
- Bit 2: FAULT
- Bit 3: DIAG
- Bit 4: RUN

INTERBUS-Schnittstelle
Für die Verbindung zum INTERBUS verfügt
das PNOZ mc5p über einen 9poligen Sub-D-
Stiftstecker „IBS IN“ und einen 9poligen Sub-
D-Buchsenstecker „IBS OUT“.
Auf den beiden letzten Seiten finden Sie ein
Anschlussbeispiel, die Anschlussbelegung,
die Belegung der INTERBUS-Schnittstelle
und die Abmessungen des Geräts.

Exploitation
Après application de la tension d’alimentation
ou une réinitialisation du système de sécurité
PNOZmulti, le module PNOZ mc5p est
automatiquement configuré et démarré. Les
LED ""RD", "CC/RC" et "BA" indiquent l’état
du module PNOZ mc5p raccordé au
INTERBUS.

Operation
After the supply voltage is switched on or the
PNOZmulti safety system is reset, the
PNOZ mc5p is configured and started
automatically. The "RD", "CC/RC" and "BA"
LEDs indicate the status of the PNOZ mc5p
on the INTERBUS.
