Reanalyzing Traces and Regenerating the

Bidirectional Measurement

You can analyze the A->B and B->A traces and regenerate the
bidirectional measurement at any time. Reanalyzing a trace will:

re-create the events table if it was modified.

³

reset the span start to zero and the span end to end-of-fiber, unless you
have saved them (see Saving the Span-Start and Span-End Information
on page 246).

The table below shows what happens when you start the analysis,
depending on the direction that is currently selected.

Note: In the case of multiwavelength files, the analysis is performed for the

selected wavelength only.
