Activating Options
Activating Module Options
After you have copied the .key file in your unit, or used a USB Flash drive,
you can activate the options you have purchased for your module in the
Module tab of the Software Options pane.
To activate options for your module:
1. Once your .key file is available, go
in the System menu, then select
Software Options.
2. Select the Module tab using the
corresponding function key
(F1/F2/F3 key).
3. In the Key file list, select the .key
file you want to activate by
selecting it and then pressing
.
4. Use the arrow buttons to select
Activate option, then press to
confirm your action.
The options you have purchased will now show a green checkmark to
indicate that they were unlocked.
Note: At this point, if you have used a USB key to copy your option file, you can
remove it as it is not required to use your new options.
Note: The option state (activated or not) is associated with the module, and not
the platform. This means that if you activate an option on
platform a / module a, the option is still active if you use platform b with
module a, but not if you use platform a with module b.
