Activating Options
Activating Options
The options for the platform and the modules are activated separately.
Activating Platform Options
After you have copied the .key file in your unit, or used a USB Flash drive,
you can activate the options you have purchased for your platform in the
Platform tab of the Software Options pane.
To activate options for your platform:
1. Once your .key file is available, go
in the System menu, then select
Software Options.
2. Select the Platform tab using the
corresponding function key
(F1/F2/F3 key).
3. In the Key file list, select the .key
file you want to activate by
selecting it and then pressing
.
4. Use the arrow buttons to select
Activate option, then press to
confirm your action.
The options you have purchased will now show a green checkmark to
indicate that they were unlocked.
Note: At this point, if you have used a USB Flash drive to copy your option file, you
can remove it as it is not required to use your new options.
