GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS

The wairanty on this unit does not cover items that have
been subjected to operator abuse or negligence. To

receive full value from the w^ranty, thjB operator must

maintain unit as instructed in this manual.

Some adjustments will need to be made periodically to

pfOperiy maintain your unit.

AH adjustments in the “Service and Adjustments" section

of this manual should be checked at least once each

season.

• Once a year, replace the spark plug, replace airfilter eie-

mentand check blades for wear. A new sparkplug and a

clean/new air filter element assures proper air-fuel mix­
ture and helps your engine run better and last longer.

• Follow the maintenance schedule In this manual.

CLEAN UNIT AND LABELS

• Clean the unit using a damp cloth with a miid detergent
• Wipe off the unit with a clean dry doth.

BEFORE EACH USE

CHECK FOR DAMAGED/WORN PARTS

• Blades - replace blades that are bent, warped, cracked,

or damaged in any way.

• Dual line head - replace trimmer head parts that are

bent, warped, cracked, or damaged in any way.

• Fuel cap - replace bnDken or leaking fUei cap.

• Gearbox - replace a cracked gearbox-
• Shields - replace shields that are berit, warped, cradled,

or damaged in any way.
