OPERATION
STOPPING YOUR ENGINE
• Move engine switch to the *^TOP" position.
•
If engine does not stop, move the choke lever upward
(Full Choke).

Place harness on the shoulders with the latch on the
chest, the Danger Sign on the back; and theiioolcon the*

Attach hook through one;Qftbe:suspension.hoI^-on.lhe
outer housing and adjust the shoulder harness for ba!-
ance so the blade or dual line head is level with the
ground.
Tension the side belts so thatthe weight is evenly distrib
uted across your shoulders. A properly adjusted
shoulder strap will support the entire weight of the unit,
freeing your arms and hands to guide and control the
cutting motion.

ii^LEBAR ADJUSTMENT (Figure 18 )
• Turn the engine off before adjusting handlebar.
• Put on shoulder harness and hook on the unit.
•
Adjust the handlebar by slightly unthreading the thumb
screw and rotating the handlebar fonvard or backward.
Ensure the mounting brackets remains betijreen the ar
rows on the handlebar.
Tighten the thumb screw before starting the engine.

THROTTLE TRIGGER & LOCKOUT
(Fig. 19)
• The throttie tiiggercontroJs engine speed. At idle, a cen-
irifugai dutch automatically disengages the blade/dual
line head from the engine. The blad^dual line head will
coast to a stop.

The throttle lockout must be depressed before the
throttle trigger can be depressed. Also, the throttle lock
out prevents unintentional activation of the throttle trig
ger.
