For 016 and 024 units back mounted hori
zontal discharge (see Fig. 2).

Remove.
a. Rear fan section panel.

b. Upper rear coil section panel.
c. Flexible conduit and wires from motor.
d. Corner bolts holding fan-to-coil section.
Lift off fan section and rotate 180° lengthwise
^ motor on left side of unit.
Locate on rear of coil section and refasten.
Replace motor conduit and wire.
Adjust:
a. Shaft alignment.
b. Fan wheel position.
c. Pulleys.
d. Fan belt.
Replace:
a. Coil section rear panel (lb) on top of coil
section and fasten.
b. Fan section panel (la) on top of fan section
and fasten.
A field-installed accessory plenum is available
for free blow application on the 008 thru 024
units.

tions as noted previously — can be field assembled
for either vertical or horizontal discharge.
HORIZONTAL DISCHARGE (see Fig. 3 and 4)
NOTE: Units vary in size but are basically the
same. Fan section panels may be removed for
easier lifting and to facilitate motor installation.

Remove:
a. Upper rear and end panels on coil section.
b. End panels on fan section.
c. Fasteners holding lower rear edge of fan
panel.
Lift and position fan section on rear of coil
section, Fig. 4. Fasten with provided fasteners.
Install (see note regarding 044 size unit):
a. Motor mount frame angles.
b. Motor on plate assembly.
c. Motor-plate assembly into frame angles.
d. Other drive package components.
Adjust:
a. Shaft alignment.
b. Fan wheel position.
c. Pulleys.
d. Fan belts.
Replace and fasten:
a. Rear coil section panel (la) on top of coil
section. Rear holes will overlap fan section
top panel. Fasten using hole vacated in (Ic).
See Fig. 4.
All end panels after adjustment.
NOTE: Motor mounting channels are factory
installed on 044 size units. No angles, plates or
fasteners necessary. In this position, fan motor
will be located at right side within fan section.

1. Remove:
Front, rear and end fan section panels.
Upper rear and end coil section panels.
Filter from coil section.
Fasteners holding filter frame top. Push out
away from coil section frame (on 028 anc
034 only).
