frequency response in the auditorium (flat, X-‐curve, etc.).

DAX-‐16 Operation
During
normal
operation,
the
front
panel
LEDs
will
flash
indicating
audio
presence
on
the
outputs.
Pointing
a
web
browser
to
the
DAX-‐16
yields
a
screen
as
shown
in
figure
1.
The
bar
graph
shows
the
audio
output
level
on
each
channel.
The
buttons
below
the
bars
are
labeled
with
channel
and
band
information
provided
during
system
configuration.
Pressing
the
buttons
enable
and
disable
audio
from
that
channel
into
the
mix
sent
over
the
audio
stream.
Pressing
the
triangular
play
button
starts
the
monitored
audio
channels
streaming
for
two
minutes.
The
Proc
and
Amp
buttons
indicate
whether
the
bar
graph
data
and
the
audio
stream
are
using
audio
leaving
the
DAX-‐16
(Proc)
or
audio
returning
from
the
amplifiers
(Amp).
The
ADPCM/pcm
link
toggles
between
use
of
an
ADPCM
(adaptive
delta
pulse
code
modulation)
or
a
PCM
codec.
As
shown
under
Browser
Support,
most
browsers
support
both
codecs,
but
not
all
support
