9. Connect
the
power
amplifiers
to
the
DE-­‐15
(HD-­‐15)
connectors
on
the
rear
panel
of
the
DAX-­‐16.
These
connectors
use
industry-­‐standard
pin
out
(as
shown
in
Appendix
A).
10. Connect
the
digital
outputs
of
the
sound
processor
to
the
digital
audio
RJ45
connectors
on
the
back
of
the
DAX-­‐16.
In
AES/EBU
systems,
connector
A
carries
AES/EBU
channels
1
through
8.
Connector
B
carries
channels
9
through
16.
In
BLU
link
systems,
connector
A
is
the
IN
port,
and
connector
B
is
the
OUT
port.
The
IN
port
should
be
connected
to
the
OUT
port
of
the
previous
device
in
the
loop.
The
OUT
port
should
be
connected
to
the
IN
port
of
the
next
device
in
the
loop.
11. If
multiple
DAX-­‐16
are
in
one
location,
connect
an
RCA
cable
from
each
unit
to
the
next.
These
cables
bus
the
audio
streaming
mix
bus
allowing
audio
from
multiple
DAX-­‐16
units
to
be
monitored
on
a
single
stream.
The
two
connectors
on
each
unit
are
connected
together
internally,
so
it
does
not
matter
which
connector
is
used.
