7. Remove one (1) free slot bracket from the system. Depending on your PC system, you may need to use a
Phillips #1 screwdriver to remove the slot bracket.
8. Line up the RED ROCKET-X connectors with a PCIe x16 physical slot that provides at least 16 lanes (x16),
and then gently but firmly press the card into the slot. If you installed the PC extender, ensure that the PC
extender slides into the PCIe card holder.
NOTE: To prevent damage to your system and the RED ROCKET-X, DO NOT rock the card or use excessive
force when installing the RED ROCKET-X.
Remove Slot Bracket
Insert RED ROCKET-X
