Replacing Front Fresnel
Parts:
42.9815.0110 1 EA FRESNEL LENS
Tools & Supplies:
3/16" flat screwdriver
Cotton gloves or finger cots
WARNING: Remove power from luminaire before performing any maintenance procedures.
To replace front fresnel:
Step 1. Remove power from luminaire and allow components to cool for at least 5 minutes.
CAUTION: Be extremely careful when removing Retaining Ring and Front Fresnel in next step. The lens can
be easily chipped or cracked. Wear cotton gloves or finger cots when handling the lens.
Step 2. Position luminaire head so that Front Fresnel is facing upward. (To prevent it from falling onto the floor when
the Retaining Ring is removed in the next step.)
Step 3. Insert flat screwdriver under notch in Front Fresnel Retaining Ring. Carefully remove Retaining Ring.
Step 4. Remove Front Fresnel.
Step 5. Replace Front Fresnel by doing steps in reverse. Ensure gasket under Front Fresnel is not damaged or
missing.
