Connect crankcase ventilation hose and secondary air
injection hose to billet fitting on silicone hose.
10. Remove (2) Phillips screws that mount the MAF to engine
cover and separate.
11. Install MAF to stainless steel bracket using (2) bolts and (2)
lock nuts supplied.
12. Insert MAF into silicone hose, and then push down stainless
steel bracket onto pin mount just in front of the battery.
Adjust bracket as necessary and make sure silicone hose is
fully seated.
13. Tighten both silicone hose clamps now.
14. Unclip and remove MAF wire connector shield.
15. Install new supplied shield with wires facing down.
16. Plug MAF wire connector into MAF.
17. For vehicles equipped with air temp sensor, route wire
under stainless steel bracket and from engine side, insert
into mounting hole in stainless steel bracket.
18. Wipe inside of filter mounting flange to remove any filter oil
residue and install air filter. NOTE: Re-check tightness of
air filter mounting clamp after one week.
