CARBON FIBER FRONT SPLITTER – PART #95.10.91
Fits 2010-up VW GTI MK VI
PARTS LIST: TOOLS REQUIRED:
1 – Carbon Fiber Splitter 3 – Torx Screw 6- M6 x 16mm 1 – T25 Torx 1 – Drill 1 – 4mm Hex Key Wrench
17– M6 Washer 3 – Clip-On Nut 6- M6 Lock Nut 1- 10mm Wrench 1 – 1/4” Drill Bit
1. Park vehicle on a flat, level surface capable of
supporting the vehicle’s weight on a jack and jack
stands. Using the manufacture’s recommended
lifting point(s), raise front of vehicle and support
with jack stands. NEVER WORK ON A VEHICLE
SUPPORTED ONLY WITH A JACK!
2. Remove the factory screws indicated in picture using
T25 Torx.
3. Install the (3) clip-on nuts supplied in the square
holes closest from the center of vehicle on the
bottom of bumper cap, no clips go in the outer most
holes.
4. Hold splitter up to vehicle and loosely start the (3)
T25 Torx screws and washers supplied into the clip-
on nuts.
5. Install original end corner screw on both sides of
vehicle with supplied washers. Check outer edge of
splitter is fitted and centered properly, then tighten
the (5) T25 Torx screws.
6. Drill out the remaining holes thru bumper cap with a
1/4” drill bit. Be careful not to push drill to deep
after drilling hole thru plastic bumper cap.
7. Using a 4mm Hex Key wrench and 10mm wrench
install M6x16 Cap screw with washer thru hole then
pull down rear of bumper cap to gain more
clearance for installing washer and nut. Caution: Do
not over tighten. Repeat for the remaining holes.
8. Double check tightness of all splitter screws and
then reinstall the remaining original lower bumper
cap retaining screws.
