2 – ¼” X ⅝” HEX BOLTS
2 – ¼ - 20 LOCK NUTS
1 – MAF CONNECTOR SHIELD
1 – PHILIPS SCREWDRIVER
1 – FLAT HEAD SCREWDRIVER
1 – SPRING CLAMP PLIERS
1 – #48 HOSE CLAMP
1 – #52 HOSE CLAMP
1 – WEATHER STRIPPING
1 – T20 TORX
1 – WD-40
1 – DUCT TAPE
REMOVE FACTORY ENGINE COVER (AIR FILTER HOUSING):
1.
If equipped, remove the air temp sensor from the air intake
duct.
2.
Disconnect electrical connector at MAF.
3.
Remove (2) T20 Torx screws from air intake duct.
4.
Disconnect intake hose from MAF sensor using spring clamp
pliers or equivalent.
5.
Carefully pull up engine cover on one side first, then the
other side. To ease removal, spray WD-40 or equivalent on
rubber mounts underneath cover. NOTE: If rubber
grommets remain on ball pin mounts, remove and replace
underneath cover.
6.
Remove air intake connection from front core support by
removing (2) T20 Torx screws on each side.
7.
Disconnect secondary air injection hose and crankcase
ventilation hose from intake air duct. Release spring clamp
at throttle body and remove intake air duct.
8.
Loosely attach silicone hose onto throttle body with #48
hose clamp and #52 hose clamp on opposite side.
