Barometric Lock
If you wish to lock the barometric value that is stored by the ECU to a set value and
override the start-up barometric correction, enable this option. Normally, unless you
are using throttle position as a load reference or have another good reason to do so,
leave this option Disabled. Configuring barometric compensation successfully
requires an in depth knowledge of your engine and the environment in which it will be
operating. (Refer 8.5 Barometric Correction, 48)
The valid values for this parameter are: Enable and Disable
Barometric Pressure Lock at xxxx (mBars)
This field allows the user to set the barometric pressure value to which the ECU
corrections will be locked. The default is 1013mBars ( = 1 Atmosphere @ sea level).
Again, unless you have sufficient knowledge about your engine characteristics and the
environment it is operating in, leave this field as it is. (Refer 8.5 Barometric
Correction, 48)
The valid values for this parameter are: 523mbar – 1046mbar
Disable Injector Outputs
Allows you turn off all injector outputs. Setting the value to YES will cut all injector
output which allows an easy way to check the trigger when cranking without having to
locate the injector fuse and remove it. Normally this field should be set to NO to allow
the injectors to fire.
The valid values for this parameter are: Yes and No
Over-boost Fuel Cut
This field enables or disables a feature which will cause the fuel to be cut when the
manifold pressure exceeds a set pressure. If this field is enabled the following fields
become visible:
Over Boost Limit
This is manifold pressure at which the fuel is cut.
Over Boost Restore
This is the manifold pressure at which the fuel supply is restored.
The “Over Boost Limit” must exceed the “Over Boost Restore” pressure by 12 kPa
(2.3psi) to eliminate boost spikes.
3.1.3 Trigger Set-up
To access the Trigger Set-up page press Alt – S to open the Set-up menu then scroll to the
Trigger Set-up menu item and press enter.
The following Trigger Set-up page description outlines the basic operation of each individual
field, the table below give application information.
Switch 1 – Pull-Up 1
This switch adds a 6.2kΩ pull to +5V at the input to the trigger circuit.
Switch 2 – Pull-Up 2
This switch adds a 2.2kΩ pull to +5V at the input to the trigger circuit after a series
input impedance.
