You cannot view dosed captioning of
a tape when the TYA^CR /s in
Counter Only mode. Details are on
page 26.
Abbreviations, symbofc, and other
grammatical shortcuts are often
used in order to keep pace with the
onscreen action.This does not indi
cate a problem with the TV/VCR.
To cancel closed captioning, follow
steps I - 2 on page 38. At step 3,
press the REWfind)/- button or the
F.FWD/+ button to select OFF.
Press the STATUS/EXIT button.
When you change channels, the
closed captioning may be delayed
for a few seconds.
When you adjust the volume or
mute the volume, dosed captioning
may be delayed for a few seconds.
