RE/HARKS 1. The Nos 1 through 130 marked on the PK-2 Keyboard are the KEY Nos to be printed
on the left side of the program receipt issued in the operation on the preceding page.
If each KEY is not set with a PLU Code, the auto-preset PLU Code identical to the
initial KEY No. in the above figure will be active as its preset PLU Code
ex.) KEYNo.1 ... PLU Code 1
KEYNo.130... PLU Code 130
2. When a PLU code is assigned to a PLU Preset-code Key on the ECR Keyboard in the
operation on the preceding page, the Hardware- Key Code which indicates the
absolute location of the key will be printed to the left of the assigned PLU Code. Since
it is hard to explain which location code corresponds to each key (due to an irregular
numbering), it is suggested to verify the positioning by simply depressing the KEY and
reading the code in the display (described in NOTE I on the preceding page). This
reading operation is applied to the PK-2 Keyboard as well.
