Before switching on the unit, please
make sure tthat the nominal voltage
given in the label on the instrument
corresponds to the nominal voltage
of the mains socket. The unit must
be plugged into a faultless grounded
outlet.
Warning!
Any break in the ground conductor
either inside or outside the unit, or
any loosening of the ground
connection, may make the unit
hazardous to operate. Never break
the ground connection intentionally!
Attention!
For USA use only: Detachable Power
Supply Cord – Listed, type SVT or
SJT, 18 AWG. Terminates in parallel
blade grounding type plug 125 V,
15 A confi guration.
Attention!
Don't put the hands and the fi ngers in
the cylinder opening between the ball
and the eccentric clamping ring. In
case the instrument and its accessories
are used properly there is no risk of
danger, neither of mechanical nature
nor by electric current.

any claims for warranty of quality or
for general liability in case the
instrument was operated not
according to the instructions given in
the operation manual and on the
instrument.
