Auger Assemblies
To remove/replace the Auger Assembly:
NOTE: The procedures for removing/replacing the Auger
Assemblies are basically the same for a 2-stage
and a 3-stage unit. Any differences will be covered
when they arise.
1. Separate the Auger Housing from the Transmission
Box by following the procedures described in the
Auger Housing section of this chapter.
2. Remove the Auger Belt.
3. Use a block of wood to prevent the augers from turn-
ing. See Figure 7.11.
4. Remove the bolt that attaches the Auger Pulley to the
Auger Shaft using a 1/2” wrench. See Figure 7.12.
5. The Pulley Adapter should slide off of the shaft easily.
