9. Remove the nut that is holding the joystick in place.
See Figure 11.34.
10. Gently remove the joystick from the Joystick
Bracket.
11. Install the joystick and harness by following the pre-
vious step in reverse order.
NOTE: Make sure the harness grommet is seated in
the Joystick Bracket.
12. Test run the unit in a safe area before returning it to
service.
Electric Joystick Bracket
To remove/replace the joystick bracket:
1. Remove the joystick and disconnect the right
heated hand grip (if equipped) by following the pro-
cedures describe in the previous section of this
chapter.
2. Remove the E-ring from the right trigger Pivot Pin.
See Figure 11.35.
3. Remove the Pivot Pin.
4. Unhook the trigger from the cable.
5. Gently pull the cable end out of the Trigger Bracket.
See Figure 11.36.
NOTE: Do not pull on the Cable Jacket. It will sepa-
rate from the Cable Jacket End, damaging
the cable.
