RHYTHM Section
Now try playing a melody with rhythm
accompaniment.
1. First, select the type of rhythm best
suited for the song you’re going to play
from among the twelve selectors in the
ACCOMPANIMENT section. Press the
corresponding button ® for your
desired rhythm.
2. By pressing the START button ® , the
selected rhythm will begin immediately.
• SYNCHRO START
The SYNCHRO START button is con­
venient when you wish to begin your
melody and the rhythm simultaneously.
Pressing the SYNCHRO START button
® puts the VSS-100 in the Rhythm
“Standby” mode. To start the rhythm,
press any key in the Lower Keyboard
Section @ .
3. Use the TEMPO control buttons (® to
adjust the rhythm speed to suit the
melody you wish to play.
• TEMPO LIGHT
The TEMPO LIGHT will illuminate on the
first beat of each measure to indicate the
speed of the rhythm. Use the TEMPO
LIGHT as a guide for determining the
tempo while adjusting it to your desired
speed. When your VSS-100 rhythm has
been put into the “Standby” mode by
pressing the SYNCHRO START button
@ , the TEMPO LIGHT will flash on
each beat.
RHYTHMUS-TEIL
Versuchen Sie jetzt, eine Melodie mit
Rhythmusbegleitung zu spielen.
1. Wählen Sie den Rhythmus, der am besten
zu Ihrer Musik paßt, durch Drücken
eines der zwölf Schalter im Begleitungs-
Bereich. Drücken Sie den entsprechenden
Schalter ® für den gewünschten
Rhythmus.
2. Durch Drücken des START-Schälters
® beginnt der gewählte Rhythmus
sofort.
• SYNCHRO START
Der SYNCHRO START-Sc halter ® ist
praktisch, wenn Sie Ihre Melodie und den
Rhythmus gleichzeitig beginnen wollen.
Durch Drücken des SYNCHRO START-
Schalters ® wird das VSS-100 in die
Rhythmus-Bereitschafts-Betriebsart gestellt.
Zum Start des Rhythmus drücken Sie jede
Taste im unteren Tastaturbereich @1 ,
3. Stellen Sie das Rhythmustempo mit den
Temposchaltern (TEMPO) ® ein, um
es der gewählten Melodie anzupassen.
• Tempolämpchen
Das Tempolämpchen (TEMPO LIGHT)
leuchtet beim ersten Taktschlag jedes
Taktes auf, um das Tempo des Rhythmus
anzuzeigen. Verwenden Sie es als Richtmaß
zur Bestimmung des Tempos, während Sie
es nach Wunsch einstellen. Wenn Ihr
VSS-100 durch Drücken des SYNCHRO
START-Schalters
® in Bereitschafts-
Betriebsart gestellt wurde, leuchtet das
Tempolämpchen bei jedem Taktschlag auf.
Section RYTHME
Essayer à présent de jouer une mélodie
avec accompagnement rythmique.
1. Parmi les douze sélecteurs de la sec­
tion ACCOMPANIMENT, choisir tout
d’abord le type de rythme qui convient
le mieux à la chanson que l’on envisage
d’interpréter. Appuyer sur la touche ®
correspondant au rythme souhaité.
2. Le rythme choisi commence immédiate­
ment par une poussée sur la touche
START @ .
• MISE EN MARCHE SYNCHRONISEE
La touche SYNCHRO START s’avère pra­
tique quand on désire faire commencer
simultanément la mélodie et le rythme.
Une poussée sur la touche SYNCHRO
START ® place le VSS-100 en mode
“Attente” rythme. Pour lancer le rythme,
appuyer sur une touche quelconque de la
section clavier inférieur
@ .
3. Se servir des réglages TEMPO ® pour
ajuster la vitesse du rythme de manière
qu’elle convienne à la mélodie à jouer.
• Témoin de TEMPO
La lampe TEMPO s’allumera au premier
temps de chaque mesure afin d’indiquer
la vitesse du rythme. On observera ce
témoin TEMPO qui servira de guide pour
déterminer le tempo lors du réglage de la
vitesse. Lorsque le VSS-iœ a été placé
en mode “Attente” par une poussée sur
la touche SYNCHRO START ® ,1e témoin
TEMPO clignote à chaque temps.
Sección de ritmos (RHITHM)
Ahora, pruebe a tocar una melodía con
acompañamiento rítmico.
1. En primer lugar, elija el tipo de ritmo que
mejor se adecúe a la canción que vaya
a tocar con uno de los doce selectores de
la sección ACCOMPANIMENT. Presione
el botón RHITHM ® correspondiente
al ritmo deseado.
2. Al presionar el botón START ® ,
el ritmo seleccionado se iniciará
inmediatamente.
• INICIO SINCRONIZADO
El botón SYNCHRO START ® le será
muy útil cuando desee iniciar simultánea­
mente su melodía y el ritmo. Al presionar
este botón, el VSS-100 plisará al modo de
ritmo “en espera”. Para iniciar el ritmo,
pulse cualquier tecla de la sección del
teclado inferior (§) .
3. Emplee los botones de control TEMPO
® para ajustar la velocidad del ritmo
de acuerdo con la melodía que desee
tocar.
• Lámpara indicadora de tempo
TEMPO LIGHT
La lámpara TEMPO LIGHT se iluminará en
el primer tiempo de cada compás pcira indicar
la velocidad del ritmo. Empléela como
guía pcura determinar el tempo mientras lo
ajuste a la velocidad deseada. Cuando haya
puesto el ritmo de su VSS-100 en el modo
de “espera” presionando el botón SYNCHRO
START ® , la lámpara TEMPO parpa­
deará en cada tiempo.
