G-Code Programming
Programming is now easier than ever; simply enter the
G-Code number found in the programme scheduling
pages of newspapers and magazines.
G-Code numbers are numbers assigned to programmes
listed in the TV programme schedule found in newspapers
and TV guides. When these numbers are entered, the
numbers are converted to actual programming.
Preparations
• Insert a video cassette tape with an intact erasure
prevention tab.
•Confirm that the TV is on and the VCR viewing channel
is selected.
•Turn on the VCR.
• Press VCR/TV to select the VCR mode.

•Confirm that the number corresponds to the right
programme. If the display looks like this:

select the programme position of your VCR which
receives the TV station you entered at step 2 using
the O (CH) button, then press ENTER.
•To make any corrections, use buttons @ (DATE),
O (ON) and O (OFF) the same way as described
on page 27.

Notes:
•To select the desired tape speed, press SPEED after
step 3.
•When the G-Code number is used for programming, the
recording time may be slightly longer than the actual
programme time.
•Repeat steps 2 and 3 if “PROGRAMME IS
INCOMPLETE." appears.
•When programming two or more programmes, repeat
steps 1-4.
•The procedures for checking and cancelling a timer
programme are the same as on page 28.
