Setting the Telephone Line Type
Use this procedure if you need to change the factory-set telephone line setting.*
If you are unsure which setting to use, contact your local telephone company.

Press FUNCTION.

Use
or
to select USER SETTINGS.

Press START/COPY.

Use
or
to select TEL LINE TYPE.

Press START/COPY, then use
or
to select
the correct telephone line type.
6
Press START/COPY to save the telephone line
type.
7
Press STOP to return to standby mode.
*
The factory default setting is ROTARY PULSE for all countries except the UK and Singapore. The factory default
setting for the UK and Singapore is TOUCH TONE.
