Reconfiguring WACS outbound observation settings
Welch Allyn preconfigured your Welch Allyn Connectivity Server (WACS) based on your
facility’s specified requirements. Once your system is built and programmed, and once
data is flowing from the WACS server to the CIS, you can adjust and customize WACS
default settings.
Common outbound setting adjustments
Common HL7 setting adjustments are as follows:
• HL7 version
• Seconds of historical data retrieval
• Push intervals
• Push on event settings
• Number of resend attempts
