Function Key Mapping

ASCII values under 32 are normally sent as control-key sequences (see

Table 10-2 on page 10-13

). Enable

this to send the keys in bold in place of the standard key mapping. Table entries that do not have a bold entry

remain the same whether or not this parameter is enabled.

Simulated Caps Lock

Enable this to invert upper and lower case characters on the bar code as if the Caps Lock state is enabled on

the keyboard. This inversion occurs regardless of the keyboard’s current Caps Lock state.
