If GPIO[7..0] is conf igured for OUTPUT:

0 = GPDAT[11..8] indicates that the signal GPIO[11..8] is being driven ‘low’
1 = GPDAT[11..8] indicates that the signal GPIO[11..8] is being driven ‘high’
