Sports Mode
This mode is used for sports photography and
capturing fast-moving subjects.
Set the Mode Dial to <‘^>.
# The way you take pictures is the same as in
<0> (Full Auto) mode. (->38)
The AF mode is automatically set to j >, and the metering mode to <[s]>. ( j O 3 "O 0 TI o' —I 0 Si* zs’ CQ O If the shutter speed indicator blinks, the shutter speed may be too slow to keep the picture from being blurred by camera shake. Be careful to hold the camera steady The built-in flash does not fire in Sports mode, even if it is raised. For best results in Sports mode, use an ISO speed setting of ISO 400 or faster.
