Recording Titles

Place camera in record pause mode.
Press START/STOP button to start recording.

Press DISPLAY (character title) or ON/OFF (graphic) button.
• Press DISPLAY (character title) button for character title, and ON/OFF
(graphic) button for digital title.
• Press CHARACTER TITLE button on wireless controller for character
title.
• Title appears in viewfinder.
• Title will be recorded with scene.
• Reverse steps 2 and 3 if you want the title to appear right at the beginning
of recording.
Press DISPLAY (character title) or ON/OFF (graphic) button
again to end titie recording.
• Title disappears from viewfinder and recording continues.
Adjusting Image Density (Digital Title)
The camera may have difficulty memorizing images with thin lines or weak
contrast. In this case, press and hold DIGITAL MEMO button for more
than three seconds to adjust image density (16 levels). Levels change
continuously as follows:

Notes:
• Because the viewfinder is black and white title changes contrast to the selected colour. If you select the same
colour for titles and backgrounds, you may have troubles recognizing titles. Select bright titles for dark
backgrounds and dark titles for bright backgrounds.
• Tities cannot be created during recording.
• Titles cannot be created and superimposed in playback mode.
• The lithium battery allows the camera to store titles even when the camera is turned off. When you change or
remove the lithium battery (lifetime is about one year), be sure to connect a power source to the camera,
otherwise the titie will be cleared from memory.
• Colour of titles can be changed during recording.
