V. Other Features

* To cancel flash exposure compensation, follow steps 1 and 2 and set the

exposure compensation amount to 0.

• The flash exposure compensation amount will not be canceled even if the

Command Dial is set to H .

• To check the flash exposure compensation amount again, press the function

button until the ^ symbol reappears

Speedlites with Exposure Compensation Capability

With an EOS-dedicated Speedlite, the flash exposure compensation

amount can be set with the camera. However, Speedlites 540EZ and

430EZ have their own exposure compensation feature. If the 540EZ or

430EZ is used and the flash exposure compensation amount is set with

both the Speedlite and the camera, the exposure compensation amount

set with the Speedlite overrides the flash exposure compensation amount

set with the camera.
