Press the function button until the
red-eye
reduction symbol ®
appears on the LCD panel.
Turn the Main Dial so that 1
appears on the LCD panel.
• To disable red-eye reduction, set it to 0

Press the shutter button halfway.
• The red-eye reduction symbol will be
displayed on LCD panel.
• The effectiveness of red-eye reduction depends on the subject.
• Red-eye reduction can be effective only when the subject looks at the red-eye
reduction lamp.
To reduce the chances of red-eye, do the following:
• Make the surrounding environment brighter.
• Move closer to the subject.
• Tell the subject to look at the red-eye reduction lamp.
