Use a blower to remove dust and

particles from the built-in lens.

—If this proves ineffective, take your

camera to an authorized Nikon Service
Center.

Set the Main dial to L.

—Make sure that the camera's reflex mirror

is kept in the up position.

—Do not touch the shutter curtains.

Set the Main dial to any position

other than L and press the shutter

release button halfway.

—Make sure that the camera's reflex mirror

is down in the normal position.

Set the Main dial to L and turn the
power OFF.
