How to use the Scene modes (
The Scene modes are listed below.
Using Scene modes, you can easily configure the camera so that it
automatically uses the optimal settings for a given shooting situation.
1. Select Scene mode by using the

MODE button, (p.23)
2. Point the camera towards the subject
and compose the image using the
LCD screen.
3. Press the shutter button to capture an
image.
* You can also change the Scene mode
by pressing the MENU button, selecting
Scene, and then seleting a Scene in
the Scene menu.
[Aqua]
: This mode is for underwater photography.
[Beauty Shot]

: Use when shooting portraits. Clears
most facial imperfections.
[Frame Guide]

: Use when you want someone else to
take a picture for you from the angle
you choose.
[Night]

: Use for shooting still images at night or
in other dark conditions.
[Portrait]

: To take a picture of a person.
[Children]
