3. Install the steerings lower joint. [Torque Specs [23.5～29.4N・m (2.4～2.9kgf-m)]
When reinstalling the steering. make sure that
the sterring wheel is striaght and that is lines
up with the lower joint and the rear cover cap
position and the steering ring gear ASSY mark.
When returning the steering wheel into its
original position please is sure that there is
no gap at the back. Extra care should be noted
when reinstalling the steering as there are
important cables there for the airbag and VDC.
Damaging these can result in a serious accident.
4. Catalytic Converter (With front pipe or straight pipe) install with the gasket supplied in the kit.

When reinstalling the stud bolts on the catalytic converter if you see the bolts move then you'll need
to repeat the process.
Torque Specs [23.5～27.4N・m (2.4～2.7kgf-m)]
Remove the rear O2 Sensor and instal in the same coupler.
5. Remove the bolts for the fuel line and install the heat sheild.
6. Any other parts that was removed during the exhaust manifold installation process should be
fitted back on now.
Best to use new gaskets and O-rings for the heater pipe when it was removed.
7. Re-connect the negative battery terminal.
4．INSTALLATION VERIFICATION.
1. Check that the exhaust manifold is fitted correctly and no wiring is interfering with the new exhaust
manifold or at risk from heat.
2. After starting the engine check for any signs of exhaust leaks.
3. Bleed the coolant of any air as instructed in the service manual.
