3．INSTALLING THE TOMEI EXHAUST MANIFOLDS

【Bolt & Gasket Installation Illustration.】

The included bolts and gaskets are shown in the illustration below.

① Head - Manifold Gasket
② Gasket for Manifold Catalytic Con
③ Flange Bolt
④ Flange Nut 【35N・m(3.6kgf-m)】

When Installing
［12.7～16.7N・m(1.3～1.7kgf-m)］

⑥ ［28.5～32.4N・m(2.9～3.3kgf-m)］
⑦ ［60～66N・m(6.1～6.7kgf-m)］
⑧ ［40～50N・m(4.1～5.1kgf-m)］
⑨ ［40～50N・m(4.1～5.1kgf-m)］

When Installing (With STD Catalytic
Converter)
［23.5～27.4N・m(2.4～2.7kgf-m)］

※ Use Botl Smooth Paste to prevent

the bolt from sticking or rust
welding.

【INSTALLATION NOTES】

1. Fit the front O2 sensors back onto the new exhaust manifold. Be sure not to mix with left and right ones.

2. Fit the exhaust manifold gasket tot he cylinder head that was supplied in the kit. Fit it to the

exhaust manifold and then the cylinder head.
※ Torque Specs ［28.5～32.4N・m(2.9～3.3kgf-m)]

If it is too hard to fit the exhaust manifold then remove the stud bolt from the cylinder head side.

If the stud bolt was removed from the cylinder head, then you reinstall it with the following
torque specs [12.7～16.7N・m(1.3～1.7kgf-m)]

Note the position of the gasket before you install it.
