59 Replacing the Middle Cover

Procedure
1 Place the middle cover on the computer base and route the cables through their
slots on the middle cover.
2 Route the following cables through their routing guides on the middle frame:
• LVDS cable
• Display-power cable
• Infrared-receiver cable
• Camera cable
• Hard-drive power and data cable
• Optical-drive power and data cable
• Converter cable
• Power-button cable
• Display-backlight cable
3 Replace the plastic shield above the LVDS and display-power cables.
4 Connect the LVDS, display-power, and touchscreen cables to the display assembly.
5 Replace the screw that secures the grounding cable to the middle cover.
6 Connect the display-backlight cable to the display assembly.
