Av Aperture-Priority AE
Taken with a large aperture
In this mode, you set the aperture and
the camera sets the shutter speed
automatically to suit the brightness of
the scene- (Av stands for aperture
value.)
By setting a larger aperture (smaller f-
number), you can blur the background
and make the subject stand out.
Or, by setting a smaller aperture
(larger f-number), you can increase the
depth of field to make both the
foreground
and
background
look
sharp.
