The EOS is a very compact autofocus, single
lens reflex camera. It has many basic and
advanced picture-taking modes to suit various
picture-taking requirements.
Try out your new camera while following the
instructions in this booklet.

Before using the camera for an important
event such as a wedding, be sure to take
test shots to make sure the camera
operates properly.

EOS cameras have a lens mount fitted
with electronic contacts for dedicated
operation (autofocusing, exposure
control, etc.) with EF lenses. Using a non-
EF lens with an EOS camera may not
result in proper camera or lens operation.
Also, the warranty does not cover any
camera malfunction or damage occurring
with the use of non-Canon accessories.
