Excessive seed
cracking Excessive field speed Slow down. Check Seeding Rate Chart for correct
maximum field speed.
Fan speed too high Check fan speed against recommendations on
page 68.
Dividers missing or damaged in towers Check and replace as needed,
Unclean seed Use clean seed.
Damaged, old or dry seed Use clean, new seed.
Chain Debris in retainer clip Be sure open end of retainer clips are facing
opposite direction of chain travel. Consult chain
routing diagrams in Appendix.
