Step 10: Splice the red wire on the Power Harness to
black wire on the vehicle ignition harness (solder
recommended or T-Taps). Cover connection with Heat Shrink
Tubing or Electrical Tape.

Step 11: Add a Ground Eyelet (recommended) to the
black wire of the Power Harness and use a screw or nut
to attach it to chassis ground.
Step 12: Test the system. Inspect that all connections are
proper and secure. Clear all loose items removed from area
around the vehicle. Turn ignition key ON and the video image
from the Camera should appear in your video / Navigation
display.
Step 13: Adjust camera view. Set parking brake, turn
Ignition ON, and have an assistant pivot the camera head to
the desired orientation.
Step 14: Reassemble vehicle. Follow your disassembly
steps in reverse order, taking care not to bind the harness
wiring when reinstalling.
Note: This camera’s default setting is non grid lines. To select
grid lines remove black connector at the end of the two green
wires, on the camera harness, as shown.
Installers’ Note: If you wish to use a mirror or monitor triggered by Reverse,
splice the mirror/monitor reverse lead to Dark Blue/White wire in the Body
Control Module located inside the driver’s side kick panel.
